Snarling teeth, glowing eyes. Someone--something--is after her.
The man who haunts her dreams enters her reality, claiming she's transforming into a changeling--not quite immortal but no longer human. Except nobody wants this change. Not humans, not immortals and least of all her.
Battle lines are drawn and blood spills as the two fight not only for her life, but for mankind's as well
My Review of Fierce Dawn by Author Amber Scott:
For starters I want to say WOW and AWESOME!!! Now that is a little off the beaten path for me as a starter for a review but this book literally kept me on the edge of my seat, seared my mind with different emotions chapter after chapter! The forbidden love and passion between Sadie and the gorgeous specimen of a 'man', Elijah made me catch my breath, and I was not able to take my eyes from the book, even when I knew I had other things to do!
I found Fierce Dawn filled with passion, romance, graphic sexual scenes (so it is not advisable for anyone under the age of 18), blood, fear, suspense, sadness, elation, to mention a few! I am not going to give much of this book away because I want YOU the reader to find out the hard and exhilarating way I did! I will tell you this, it is a paranormal book with vampires, shape shifters, seekers and the special thing Sadie turns out to be, and you will have to read the book to find that our plus the beautiful, frustrating, forbidden, sensual relationship between Sadie and Elijah and the many dangers that entails.
Amber Scott has outdone herself in Fierce Dawn and I WANT MORE!! So, I pray that Amber will allow me to read and review part II of the life of Lyric. Oh, you don't know Lyric do you? Hmmm...well, get this book and you will find out who and 'what' he is! I highly recommend this book to ALL paranormal readers who love a very wild emotional roller coaster ride!!!
I give Fierce Dawn five stars *****

About the author: (taken from the author's web site)
I’m a happily married mama of two. In between nap times and laundry, I bang out the love stories in my head. I can’t cook. I’m seriously addicted to chocolate. If I could have lunch with any person living or dead, it’d be my dad.
I’m lucky enough to be able to say I have landed a really amazing husband, and yet, at times, I miss the days of being single.
Don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t exchange my life for anything, but…a night in the arms of a certain devastatingly handsome vampire or a morning curled up next to the knight that got away are tempting thoughts that I can’t help explore through my fiction.
Come away with me and live vicariously….
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel back in time? To howl at the moon? To kiss a girl?
Ever wake up and wish you had a little Druid magic to make things easier or some hard alcohol that made it all disappear?
I miss the falling in love part. Do you? That wondrous new hope of becoming the world to someone else? The thrill of meeting eyes across a crowded room? The shiver of unexpected attraction?
Unfortunately, my books will not reverse the signs of aging and they cannot shrink your thighs. But, if you give them a chance, they’ll take you away from it all. My characters aren’t perfect people. Far from it. They make mistakes, want the impossible and often get in their own damned way. But, I love them still. They are a lot like me. Sleep deprived, worried, misguided and driven despite it all.
If you need some ‘me time’, a little escape, my seven and counting titles are here for you.
Until July 1st, you can find Jessie’s Girl, Wanted and The Best Revenge at Liquid Silver Books.
May 2009, I joined the staff, or “crew”, of 1stTurningPoint.com, a site and forum where unpublished, new, orphaned, ebook, self-published, small and big press published authors come to learn and share all about promotion.
October 2010 I co-founded the Indie Book Collective with Carolyn McCray and Rachel Thompson. We pooled our skill sets and wrote “Dollars & Sense: The Definitive Guide to Self-publishing Success.”
My internal editor, Charles, occasionally pops in to speak his piece here. Trust me, he’s a character! Milla, my muse, always keeps him in line, thankfully.
